In Crimea, a number of organizations and enterprises were exempted from property tax. Who exactly and why

In Crimea, organizations that own engineering infrastructure facilities of the housing and communal complex, the maintenance of which is fully or partially carried out at the expense of various budgets, will be exempt from paying property tax. Corresponding amendments to Article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Crimea “On Corporate Property Tax”, introduced by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov and recommended by the Committee on Budgetary, Financial, Investment and Tax Policy, were supported at a session of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.

The current version of the above-mentioned law grants property tax benefits to organizations that are owners (balance holders) of engineering infrastructure facilities of the housing and communal complex, the maintenance of which is fully or partially carried out at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Crimea and (or) local budgets.

In order to further clarify the indicators of indicators of the State Program for Reforming the Housing Sector, to achieve which the funds released as a result of the provision of this benefit will be directed, by the decision of the interdepartmental working group to consider issues related to ensuring the receipt of taxes, collecting property payments to the budget of the republic, it was accepted that this the benefit should be provided only for engineering infrastructure facilities of the housing and communal complex, the maintenance of which is fully or partially carried out at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Crimea— clarified in the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.
