In Crimea, the prosecutor’s office of the Belogorsk district supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a local resident. Based on the evidence presented by the state prosecutor, he was found guilty under paragraph “b” of Part 4 of Art. 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (rape), paragraph “b”, part 4 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (other actions of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim, committed against a person under 14 years of age), Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph “b”, part 4, art. 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted rape).
The court found that the man, being the cohabitant of the victim’s mother, committed crimes of a sexual nature against a minor born in 2009 during a period when family members were absent from home.,” the prosecutor’s office briefly reported.
However, the case materials were by no means brief. As a result, the court sentenced the man to 13 years in prison, to be served in a maximum security correctional colony and further restriction of freedom for 1 year and 6 months. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
