CrimeaPRESS reports:
Thanks to the national project “Safe Quality Roads” in the Republic of Crimea, work is underway to repair a section of the public road of regional importance Simferopol — Krasnoperekopsk — the border with the Kherson region with a length of more than 7 km.
The repair of this section of the road is being carried out to ensure comfortable and safe movement of transit transport and is of exceptional importance for local residents. Road workers have almost completed the milling work, as well as the dismantling of sidewalks and curbs. At the moment, work is in full swing on the installation of a leveling layer, the top layer of coating and the construction of roadsides,” noted the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea.
The total amount of funds provided for the implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” in the Republic of Crimea for 2024 is about 6 billion rubles. As part of the national project, 48 objects will be implemented in Crimea, including 23 highways with a length of 190 km and 25 bridges and bridge structures with a length of 1092.76 linear meters. The customer for all objects is the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Road Service of the Republic of Crimea”.
The main goal of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” is to increase the share of roads of regional and intermunicipal importance that meet regulatory requirements, and to create a modern, comfortable and reliable transport infrastructure. Special attention is paid to bringing artificial structures (bridges and bridge structures) to standard condition — reconstruction of emergency and pre-emergency bridges.
Since the start of the project, the share of regional roads that are in standard condition has doubled.
