In Crimea, a single emergency number «112» received more than 158 thousand calls in May

From 1 to 31 in Crimea, a single emergency number «112» received 158,552 calls. This was announced by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Sadakliev. According to him, 7,950 calls were transferred to the ambulance to the number 103, 5,999 calls to the police to 102, 917 calls were forwarded to the number 101, 407 calls to the number 104, transferred on EDDS — 2,037 calls. Also, 2,112 telephone consultations were provided, and 357 calls were classified as “childish prank”.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea reminds that the number 112 can be used to call the following operational services:

• fire department;
• the police;
• emergency medical care;
• gas network emergency service;
• «Antiterror».

A few examples of situations that should be reported immediately by calling 112. These situations include:

• fire;
• the smell of gas at the entrance, on the floor or in the apartment;
• traffic accident;
• domestic violence;
• the crime you witnessed;
• public order disturbance;
• urgent medical care.
