In the duty part of the Crimean linear administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, a message was received on the fire on the stage of Art. Clean — Art. Simferopol of the Simferopol district of two unified relay cabinets, which are responsible for the management of traffic lights designed to regulate trains.

During the procedural audit, law enforcement officers found that the fire occurred as a result of the thermal impact on the contents of the relay cabinets, which led to their complete destruction and the impossibility of further use. The preliminary amount of damage to the FSUE “Crimean Railway” amounted to over 1 million rubles.

During the complex of operational-search measures, criminal investigators, together with colleagues from the regional UFSB of Russia, were in the shortest possible time involved in the arson of relay cabinets. They turned out to be two previously convicted men-a 35-year-old native of Ulyanovsk and a 43-year-old native of Simferopol. They showed confessions, explaining that they were arson of relay cabinets deliberately, for a monetary reward of $ 200, according to the previously reached agreement during correspondence with strangers in the messenger.

The investigative department of the Crimean LU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on transport was opened a criminal case under paragraph “A” of part 2 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code. The sanction under this article of the Criminal Code provides for a punishment of imprisonment for up to twenty years. A measure of restraint in the form of detention was chosen by him.
