In Crimea, a verdict was passed in a criminal case of attempted murder for hire
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Crimea, the Feodosia City Court issued a verdict in a criminal case against local residents Roman Melnichuk and Vladislav Gromovoy. It was established that the defendants, acting on the instructions of persons in Ukraine, agreed for 1 million rubles to commit the murder of a resident of Feodosia (famous blogger and social activist Alexander Talipov), who had repeatedly publicly spoken out in support of the SVO.
The convicts purchased a moped, installed an explosive device in its case and placed it in the courtyard of the apartment building where the victim lives. As a result of the explosion, two passers-by were injured. In addition, one of the defendants set fire to a car on which the “Z” symbol was placed.— said the prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the perpetrators to 16 and 10 years of imprisonment to be served in a high-security correctional colony with restriction of freedom for each for a period of 1 year. Melnichuk was also given an additional punishment in the form of a fine of 1 million rubles.
