In Crimea, almost every second high school student performs a «home» using AI

Krympress reports:

In a survey of the Search for highly paid work Superjob Parents of schoolchildren and teachers from Crimea took part.

Artificial intelligence penetrates deeper into all spheres of our lives, including secondary education. According to parents, it is actively used by schoolchildren — to complete homework. Mothers and fathers can not always control the implementation of the “homemade”, but, nevertheless, 24% of the parents of students of grades 5-6 already know exactly that their child is seeking decisions to AI. Among the parents of students in grades 7-9, every third knows that the child performs homework with the help of neural networks, and among the parents of high school students-almost every second.

And what do teachers who work in the middle and senior links think about the use of neural networks? 12% of teachers reported that they are constantly faced with tasks completed with the help of AI and are trying to fight this. According to them, it is not difficult to identify such work, for example, asking the student clarifying questions or offering to solve similar tasks at the board. When solving mathematical problems, artificial intelligence often gives algorithms that were not studied at school. Some teachers admit that «the struggle mainly consists in sanctions to those who simply wrote off from neurosettes and did not work out the topic themselves.» There are already teachers who teach children, how to use the capabilities of AI: for example, to search for sources of information or create a work plan. 30% of teachers do not yet know how to prevent thoughtless use by students of generative models when performing homework, and 29% said that they had not yet encountered such situations.
