In Crimea, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations conduct raids on places where pyrotechnics are sold
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On the eve of the New Year holidays, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are carrying out a set of preventive measures aimed at preventing fires and deaths in them. A special place in this complex is occupied by inspections of places where pyrotechnic products are sold in Crimea.
To date, 21 stationary points of sale of pyrotechnic products have been identified on the peninsula. Most of them have already carried out surveillance and preventive measures. During such visits, specialists from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations conduct additional fire safety training with personnel, check the presence of fire extinguishers, automatic fire alarms, public address systems, the availability of documents confirming the quality of products, and also assess the condition of the premises where pyrotechnics are stored and sold.— said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.
In addition, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations pay attention to the fact that sellers inform buyers about the hazard class of a particular product and the possibility of its use due to current restrictions. Not all Crimeans and guests of the peninsula may know that the pyrotechnics they purchase are prohibited for use.
Thus, according to the Decree of the Head of the Republic of Crimea, the use of pyrotechnic products is prohibited throughout the entire peninsula, with the exception of firecrackers, sparklers, and cold fire fountains. Violation entails a warning or an administrative fine.
However, in addition to stationary points of sale of pyrotechnics, unauthorized spontaneous places for the sale of pyrotechnics are also identified. To control these facilities, joint raids are carried out by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. The main task is to stop the spread of unlicensed products.
Preventive measures will be carried out in all cities and regions of the peninsula until December 31.
