Sell the job: One in six recruiters previously worked as a sales manager or sales manager. SuperJob, a high-paying job search service, has studied the career path of recruitment managers.
Sales managers used to be 14% of recruiters, sales managers — 3%. But most often they get into recruiting from the student bench: 32% of recruitment managers began working in their position immediately after receiving their education (including 16% after graduating from specialized faculties, 11% after graduating from management faculties and 5% — after receiving other specialties). Nearly one in four (23%) became recruiters after working in other HR positions— noted in the press service of the service.
5% started out as secretaries. Administrators, teachers, economists and call center operators — 2% each. 1% each worked as lawyers, doctors, salespeople, accountants and marketers before mastering recruiting. 7% started with other professions: among those listed are an engineer, an analyst, an editor, a nurse, a dispatcher, and so on.
A study of the resume database shows that 8 out of 10 recruiters (81%) have a higher education, and 28% have a specialized one (HR management, labor sociology, etc.). 25% received higher education in management and management.
