In Crimea, expectant mothers were congratulated on World Pregnancy Day
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In antenatal clinics and maternity hospitals of the Republic of Crimea, events were held dedicated to World Pregnancy Day, which is celebrated twice a year — on April 7 and October 7. For expectant mothers, obstetrician-gynecologists, neonatologists and psychologists held lectures in Crimea on the course of pregnancy and upcoming birth, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, proper nutrition, and physical activity.
In addition, representatives of social services told women about the required payments and other social support measures for families with children. The clergy held conversations about the importance of traditional family values, the role of the family in modern society and the spiritual component in raising children.
In a number of maternity hospitals, tours of departments, maternity rooms and shared wards were held. Practical classes on caring for a newborn, physical exercises to improve well-being, as well as creative master classes were also organized for women. Expectant mothers were presented with gifts and wished a safe birth and happy motherhood.
Let us remind you that 2024 in our country, by decree of the President of Russia, has been declared the Year of the Family. This year, priority attention at all levels is given to strengthening the institution of the family, increasing the prestige of motherhood and fatherhood, comprehensive protection of childhood and demographic programs.
