In Crimea, families of SVO participants will pay half as much for utilities
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At a meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, a new support measure was established for the families of combat veterans, including for participants in the Northern Military District, in the form of 50 percent compensation for utility bills. As the head of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov emphasized, previously a similar benefit was provided for combat veterans, but did not apply to their relatives.
About 67 million rubles per year are needed to provide compensation. To date, funds for providing this measure in 2024 have already been transferred to the relevant Crimean ministry. I would like to note that in total there are currently 18 measures of social support for SVO participants on the territory of the Republic. We will continue to help our soldiers, provide them with a reliable rear, and take care of their families. The unity of the army and the people is the guarantee of our Victory— commented Vladimir Konstantinov.
