In Crimea, families receive monthly financial assistance upon the birth of children.
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In 2024, the implementation of social support measures in connection with the birth of a third or subsequent children until the child reaches the age of 3 years continues. As part of the project, parents receive financial support from the state. The implementation of the social support measure is aimed at supporting able-bodied low-income families and low-income residents of Crimea, whose average income is below two times the subsistence level of the working-age population established in the Republic of Crimea. In 2024, the budget of the Republic of Crimea provides 527.2 million rubles for these purposes. Recipients of this monthly cash payment in the republic are 2059 families. The monthly payment amount is 15,559 rubles — noted in the press service Main Directorate for the Implementation of National Projects (regional project office).
A prerequisite for the assignment of payment is the presence of citizenship of the Russian Federation. To request payment for a child born before January 1, 2023, residents of the Republic of Crimea can contact the labor and social protection authorities at the place of registration or stay. The application can also be submitted in your personal account on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services of the Republic of Crimea.
Funds from the basic compulsory health insurance program are used to implement in vitro fertilization activities for families suffering from infertility. In 2024, the budget of the Republic of Crimea provides 108.1 million rubles for these purposes. About 800 women will be able to take advantage of this program; this year, about 200 women underwent this procedure.
