In Crimea, fathers are more likely than mothers to be dissatisfied with their children’s place of work and profession
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Every eighth parent is dissatisfied with where and who their child works. Parents of employed adult children from Crimea took part in the SuperJob service survey.
Fortunately, the majority of parents (65% of fathers and mothers each) are satisfied with the place of work of their adult children. Talking about this, every fifth person noted that the child earns decent money. For 19% of respondents, the most important thing is that the child likes the job. The top 3 criteria by which fathers and mothers recognize their children’s employers as good also includes the stability of the company (13%). Parents are satisfied when their child has prospects for career growth and professional development (12%), when he realizes his potential (7%), when he is respected by management, colleagues and clients (6%). 13% of respondents bring the greatest joy to the fact that the child has become independent and does not need financial support— reported the press service of the service.
However, parents have ambivalent assessments of some criteria for their children’s work. Take, for example, remote work: 3% of parents are satisfied that their children work remotely, but there are also those who do not like their children working from home: “Limited social connections, isolation.”
Overall, 15% of men and 10% of women criticize their children’s place of work. Most often because of the low salary — every third person is dissatisfied with it. Parents may not like working outside their specialty (18%), working with an inconvenient schedule (13%) and high workload (11%). 2% are concerned about the fact that the child does not realize his potential in work.
