In Crimea, financial assistance is provided for the purchase of sports uniforms and sports shoes

Large families have the right to social support in the form of financial assistance for the purchase of sports uniforms and sportswear. This is stated in paragraph 1 of part 1 of article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Crimea dated December 17, 2014 N 39-ZRK/2014 “On social support for large families in the Republic of Crimea.”

Financial assistance is provided for every child born, adopted, or taken under guardianship (trusteeship) in a large family studying in an organization that carries out educational activities in basic general educational programs for full-time education, located on the territory of the municipality of the Yalta urban district of the Republic of Crimea.

Financial assistance is provided to one of the parents (adoptive parents, guardians, trustees) of a child born, adopted, or taken under guardianship (trusteeship).

Financial assistance is provided once per calendar year and no more than once per academic year. If a large family has not exercised its right to receive financial assistance in the current calendar year from August 1 to November 20, its payment does not apply to subsequent years.

In 2023, parents of 1,236 children took advantage of this measure, and in 2022 — 990 children.
