In Crimea, more than 400 thousand people were immunized against influenza. Both adults and children
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In 2024, 408,237 people were immunized against influenza in the Republic of Crimea. Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Anton Lyaskovsky spoke about this.
Currently, 285,999 adults and 122,238 children have been vaccinated against the influenza virus, including 5,407 children aged six months to three years who received the first dose of the influenza vaccine— the press service of the deputy minister quotes.
Let us remind you that in order to create collective immunity against influenza in 2024 in the Republic of Crimea, it is necessary to vaccinate at least 62% of the population — that is 1,140,247 people, of which 295,540 are children.
To immunize the population in the region, domestically produced drugs are used: for vaccination of adults — Sovigripp, Flu-m, Grippol quadrivalent; for vaccination of pregnant women and children — “Ultrix quadri”, “Sovigripp for children”.
You can get immunized at any nearest medical organization, including without an appointment. Organized teams can invite a mobile team of medical workers to their place to vaccinate without interrupting their work.
It is necessary to get vaccinated against influenza in order to avoid possible complications of the virus in case of infection. Complications of the disease can occur in both children and adults of any age. These are, first of all, pneumonia, rhinitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, otitis media, complications from the cardiovascular and nervous systems. Immunization helps prevent severe intoxication and long recovery from illness.
To build immunity, you need to get vaccinated right now — before the start of cold weather and the seasonal increase in ARVI and influenza.
