In Crimea, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, they propose to increase payments to war veterans

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Payments to veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the Republic of Crimea in 2025, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, can be doubled to 100 thousand rubles. Also, those who liberated Crimea and the partisans may be paid an additional 100 thousand rubles. Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the region Elena Romanovskaya addressed the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov with such a proposal, the correspondent reports TASS.

Of course we will support you. We owe it to these people that we live today under a peaceful sky. What questions might there be? — Sergei Aksenov said at a meeting of the board of the regional Ministry of Labor.

As Romanovskaya TASS clarified, today there are 68 participants in the fighting in the Great Patriotic War living in the republic, of which nine were participants in the liberation of Crimea and seven partisans who fought behind enemy lines on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula.

By May 9, all of them will receive a one-time payment of 50 thousand rubles, and participants in the liberation of Crimea and Crimean partisans will receive an additional 10 thousand rubles. It is planned that now war veterans who participated in hostilities will receive 100 thousand rubles, liberators of Crimea and Crimean partisans — another 100 thousand rubles.
