Summer bookings are proceeding at an active pace, the depth of bookings, according to tour operators, reaches 120 days,” the minister said, adding that expectations for the tourist flow are “moderately optimistic,” while active preparations are underway for all structures. Volchenko noted that the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic has recorded an increase in bookings since the beginning of the year compared to the past two years, prices remain competitive in relation to other regions.

The head of the Republic’s Ministry of Tourism also said that most of the region’s beaches will have time to be prepared for the summer season after the storm that hit southern Russia in November 2023. “The vast majority of beaches will be ready by June 1.

Now the region is updating its infrastructure, installing new sports complexes for children, outdoor exercise equipment, lamps, small architectural forms, as well as weather displays, acoustic warning systems, showers, locker rooms, equipment for video surveillance and rescue posts, and wooden paths for access to the sea. According to him, the authorities also paid attention to the purchase of equipment for people with limited mobility: lifts, golf carts, toilets, ramps for descending into the sea and special sun loungers and strollers.
