In Crimea, police detained the next minor couriers of scammers

Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea, together with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Dzhankoysky», were detained by adolescents, whom scammers used as messengers to collect money from their victims. In action, the same scheme: «Your relative got into an accident.»
The deceived elderly women of 82 and 83 years from the Dzhankoy district turned to the police with a difference of several days: they were reported by telephone with granddaughters who urgently needed money for treatment. The confused pensioners were transferred for a total of 650 thousand rubles for the arrived couriers. Schoolchildren of 15 and 16 years old, who decided to work out during the summer holidays, turned out to be accomplices of scammers. Getting instructions from curators in the Telegram messenger, they came to the indicated addresses, took cash and transferred them to scammers. A 16-year-old resident of the Dzhankoy district, having received 200 thousand rubles from the old woman, managed to credit the money through the ATM to the scammers, leaving a “salary” of five thousand rubles. Her 15-year-old “colleague” from Simferopol “worked” for the same amount, receiving 450 thousand rubles from a pensioner to transfer to his curator,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea.
Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Dzhankoysky» on two facts of fraud has been instituted criminal cases under part 3 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Since criminal liability for this type of crime occurs from the age of 16, the Curious girl will be charged. In addition, for non -fulfillment of the obligations for the maintenance and education of a minor administrative punishment, her parents will bear.
For a 15-year-old curator, his parents will be responsible to the law: they drawn up an administrative protocol under Art. 5.35 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
Administrative materials will be sent to the commission on minors.
