In Crimea, at the end of November, an operational and preventive event was carried out under the code name “Metal”. The police identified and suppressed offenses committed in the field of scrap processing and the circulation of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
As part of the activities in the field of illegal trafficking of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, police officers carried out 105 checks: 60 metal collection points were worked out, 45 vehicles transporting products and scrap metal were inspected by police officers— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Results of the operation: 44 administrative offenses were identified and suppressed under Art. 14.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, protocols were drawn up. 6 tons 976.8 kg of scrap non-ferrous and ferrous metal were seized from illegal circulation. Police officers, together with the judicial authorities, reviewed 24 materials, the total amount of fines imposed was 57 thousand 450 rubles, of which 13 were paid for a total amount of more than 33 thousand rubles. 14 administrative materials under Art. 14.26 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.

In Simferopol, a local resident was identified who accepted scrap ferrous metal with a total weight of 3,500 kg, thereby violating the rules established by law for handling scrap and waste of non-ferrous and ferrous metals. An administrative violation report was drawn up against the violator; he was brought to administrative liability in the form of a fine in the amount of 2,000 rubles.
In Dzhankoy, a local resident collected and stored scrap and metal waste without a license, stored machine parts, wires, and used household appliances. In relation to the man, the police drew up a protocol on an administrative offense under Art. 14.26 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
In Yevpatoria, an official has been identified who violated the legislation in the field of handling scrap and waste of non-ferrous and ferrous metals. In the Belogorsk region, on the territory of the organization, a citizen accepted scrap metal in the absence of the head of the organization, thereby violating the Rules for handling scrap and waste of non-ferrous and ferrous metals. Based on this fact, a protocol on an administrative offense under Art. 14.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, she was sentenced to an administrative fine in the amount of 2,000 rubles. The fine has been paid.
