GUK emphasized that now in the Republic of Crimea the prices for certain positions of socially significant goods are lower than in Sevastopol, the Krasnodar Territory and, in general, in the Southern Federal District (Southern Federal District). In particular, the prices of Kurin’s egg in Crimea are on average up to 20% lower than in the Kuban, he noted.

According to GUK, it was possible to achieve this, thanks to the signing by the Government of the Republic of Crimea, an agreement with business entities to stabilize prices and increase production volumes in enterprises.

GUK recalled that in February of this year, the Government of the Republic of Crimea signed an additional agreement with manufacturers and retail chains, according to which a list of socially significant goods was expanded in the republic.

Initially, when we signed a government agreement in 2024, this list was already more than 30 positions, although the approved-24. Separate retail chains before signing offered 50-60 positions and today expanded the list to more than 80 items. That is, now in the Republic of Crimea, the list of socially significant goods is the widest— said Hook.

He emphasized that price monitoring and their comparative analysis is carried out by all municipalities regularly: for federal statistics — weekly, and in accordance with the government agreement — daily.

And to expect that in the summer, in connection with the influx of tourists, prices will rise, there is no reason, Hook believes.

Many people think that now tourists will go to Crimea and there will be a sharp unreasonable increase in prices for some goods. But we do not observe such facts annually— summed up the chief of the relevant department.

Earlier, in April, the head of the FAS Russia Maxim Shaskolsky reportedthat the department began additional checks of manufacturers of dairy products after a high level of margins for a number of goods was recorded, in particular butter, raw milk and bread.
