In Crimea, repairs to the Belogorsk-Mezhgorye road section are nearing completion

At present, the work on replacing the road base, laying the leveling layer and installing the curbstone has been fully completed on the site. Road workers are working on installing the top layer of the pavement and strengthening the shoulders.

The national project «Safe High-Quality Roads» is being implemented in 84 regions of the country and is designed to modernize the transport infrastructure in Russia. It is especially important that road repairs are carried out in remote settlements, which has a direct positive effect on the quality of life of citizens: this includes comfortable safe travel on roads, the creation and modernization of road infrastructure and the creation of new jobs.

As part of the implementation of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», bridges and overpasses are being repaired, modern technologies and materials are being used, advanced engineering solutions are being introduced and, as a result, the safety and operational characteristics of road facilities are being improved.

Last year, more than 260 km of roads were repaired in the Republic of Crimea under the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads». A large amount of work in 2023 was carried out on the repair of bridge structures — work was carried out at 24 sites. The length of artificial structures brought to standard condition on regional or inter-municipal and local roads amounted to more than 866 running meters.

In 2024, more than 200 km of roads will be brought up to standard in the Republic of Crimea — work will be carried out on 25 road facilities. Also, 25 bridges and overpasses with a total length of 1092.76 running meters will be repaired.
