In Crimea, since the beginning of the year, a single benefit was assigned to the parents of 72 thousand children

Speaking with a report on the work of the Russian Government in 2023, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin spoke about support measures for families with children, including a single benefit.

On behalf of the President, we are developing a comprehensive support system — from the moment a woman becomes pregnant, the birth of a child and at all stages of his growing up — up to 17 years. Since January last year, you know, we launched a single benefit, which is provided every month based on the situation of a particular family. It was prescribed to almost 11 million children. And about 400 thousand expectant motherssaid Mikhail Mishustin.

He also noted that the government is striving to make receiving support simple, convenient, fast, based on only one application or automatically.

In Crimea, since the beginning of the year, a single benefit has been established for the parents of 72,970 children under the age of 17 and for 1,616 expectant mothers who registered with medical organizations in the early stages of pregnancy.

In total, based on the results of 2023, the Branch of the Social Fund of Russia in the Republic assigned a single benefit to the parents of 179.2 thousand children and 6 thousand pregnant women– reported in the regional office of the SFR.
