In Crimea, soil polluted fuel oil is disposed of after an emergency with tankers

Together with [министром чрезвычайных ситуаций Крыма] Aleksey Eremenko visited a license platform on which waste from the coast of Crimea is stored as part of the liquidation of emergencies associated with fuel oil. To date, waste disposal has begun — about 16 tons of waste, which are subject to disposal by the thermal method, transferred to the Licensee for burning— she wrote in Telegram channel.
The Minister also said that there is an active preparation of waste for disposal by the biological method — about 250 tons of waste are sifted, the first 50 tons of them will begin to be treated with special bacteria in the coming days. Shevtsova clarified that the stored sorted processed waste is covered with plastic wilty film, there are no smells of oil products on the site.
