In Crimea, specific proposals will be developed for the implementation of developments in the innovation sector

Today we set ourselves the task of summarizing the experience that has developed in our republic in the innovation sphere. Comprehensive mutually beneficial cooperation between intellectual property owners and the business community will allow the Republic of Crimea to achieve sustainable economic growth.

According to the minister, the extensive experience accumulated in Russia in the commercialization of scientific research and the implementation of popular business projects with the participation of academic institutes and universities must be studied and implemented in our region. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the President of the Russian Federation has repeatedly given instructions to approve a mechanism for achieving technological development goals.

Irina Kiviko identified the main tasks for the development of innovative activities in the republic. Among them: clarification of educational programs of higher and secondary vocational education to solve problems in the development of technological entrepreneurship in the Republic of Crimea; preparation by budgetary scientific and educational organizations of scientific research and development with a mandatory assessment of the expected economic efficiency and a number of others.

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea hopes that based on the results of the Council’s work, the process of establishing an innovative economy will move at a faster pace. Starting from the formation of a system of legal protection and protection of intellectual property objects, the involvement of intellectual property objects in economic circulation and ending with the introduction into all sectors of the Crimean economy.
