In Crimea, teams of young firefighters beautify monuments to military glory

In Crimea, as part of its work with the younger generation, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations pays special attention to the issues of teaching the basics of life safety, promoting a healthy lifestyle and patriotic education.
Teams of young firefighters from Yalta supported the patriotic action to improve the territories of monuments of military glory, which was started by Simferopol cadets. Together with employees of the local department of supervisory activities and preventive work, students improved the area near the monument to military glory in the village. Sunrise, where two unknown Soviet soldiers were buried during the liberation of Yalta in 1944.
The guys cleared the memorial site and the surrounding area from thickets, dry leaves and fallen branches, painted the borders and fence. After cleaning the area, young firefighters laid red carnations at the memorial and honored the memory of the fallen heroes with a minute of silence— said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.
One of the main directions of patriotic education is to involve the younger generation in caring for military memorials and mass graves. Keeping the monuments of the Great Patriotic War clean and intact speaks of deep respect for those who, at the cost of their lives, defended our Motherland from the Nazi invaders.
