In the Republic of Crimea, in recent years, the incidence of tuberculosis has decreased by 50%, mortality from this disease has decreased by 41%. According to the chief freelance phthisiatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea, Lilia Mamotenko, to detect this disease, all adult citizens undergo an annual fluorographic examination. As part of the preventive measures of the month of anti-tuberculosis in the Crimea, field work of a mobile digital fluorographic complex is organized every year.
