In Crimea, the investigation into the death of a worker at an oil products storage site has been completed

According to the Investigative Committee, a criminal investigation has been completed in Crimea against the head of a workshop at an oil depot in the village of Komsomolskoye. He is accused of violating the industrial safety requirements of hazardous production facilities, resulting in the death of a person through negligence (Part 2 of Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Crimean Investigation Department for Transport established that on April 24 of this year, as a result of violations of safety requirements by the responsible person when working with tanks for storing petroleum products with a faulty tool, a railway tank caught fire, resulting in the death of a worker located in the area of the fire.
Fire-technical and other forensic examinations were carried out, technical documentation was seized and studied, the necessary investigative actions were carried out to confirm the guilt of the official— reported in Sledkom.
The criminal investigation has been completed. With the approved indictment, it is sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
