In Crimea, the legalization of labor relations is controlled by the government

The meeting was attended by representatives of the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea, the tax service, social partners, members of the commission.
Opening the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister drew attention to the negative consequences of illegal employment, her influence on the protection of labor and social rights of citizens.
As a result of the work carried out this year, labor relations were issued with 6.6 thousand employees.
Mostly the risks of informal employment were identified in the field of trade (37.3 %), the provision of services (13.6 %), agriculture (11 %), catering (4.7 %), construction (3.6 %), and the sanatorium-resort area (3 %).
At the meeting, the heads of administrations of four municipalities of the Republic of Crimea were heard, positive experience in combating illegal employment in the cities of Simferopol and Saki was noted.
Our joint work should be aimed at fulfilling in full labor relations with each revealed risk of informal employment”Said Elena Romanovskaya, emphasizing that since the beginning of 2025, the recommendations for eliminating the relevant risks have not complied with 11.7% of employers, in respect of which more than 230 materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office and inspection for the work of the Republic of Crimea to take response measures.
Special attention should be paid to the payment of wages, the amount of which does not comply with the established standards.
During the meeting, joint solutions were developed to increase the effectiveness of counteracting illegal employment.
