In Crimea, the results of the operational and preventive event “Dodger” were summed up

On the territory of the Republic of Crimea, an operational and preventive measure was carried out under the code name “Dodger”, the main purpose of which is to identify persons who have evaded the fulfillment of their assigned duties and to encourage them to fulfill it.
For a person’s evasion from fulfilling an assigned duty, administrative liability is provided in accordance with the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses, Article 6.9.1 “Evasion from undergoing diagnostics, preventive measures, treatment for drug addiction and (or) medical and (or) social rehabilitation in connection with the use of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without a doctor’s prescription,” the sanction of which provides for punishment in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of 4 to 5 thousand rubles or administrative arrest for up to 30 days,” noted the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
Based on the results of activities carried out on the territory of the republic in order to prevent non-medical drug use and encourage individuals to fulfill the obligation imposed on them by the court to undergo diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for drug addiction, 82 administrative protocols were drawn up for evasion of the assigned obligation under Article 6.9.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, Based on the results of their consideration by the judicial authorities, administrative fines totaling more than 180 thousand rubles were imposed, as well as administrative arrests for a period of 3 to 15 days. Preventive work was carried out with these persons, aimed at encouraging them to fulfill their assigned duties, legal responsibility for committing offenses and crimes in the field of drug trafficking, as well as the harmful consequences of their consumption, was explained.
132 preventive conversations were held with registered drug users, during which the need to strictly fulfill the obligation imposed by the court was explained, as well as the legal consequences for evading its fulfillment.
Based on the results of the activities carried out, 72 drug users fully fulfilled the obligation assigned to them by the court — they completed the course of necessary medical and rehabilitation measures.
In total, 104 persons were removed from control for various reasons.
