In Crimea, the results of the police operation “Protection” are summed up

In order to prevent criminal attacks against children, identify persons committing violent acts, including parents, legal representatives, and other members of their families, as well as take measures to protect the rights and legitimate interests of minors, a preventive event was held from June 1 to June 10 in Crimea under the code name “Protection”.
The operation was attended by 279 employees of territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the district level, subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea, as well as 104 employees of other entities of the prevention system of the Republic of Crimea.
As a result of the preventive measures carried out at the place of residence, the police visited 471 parents and legal representatives of minors who were under preventive registration with employees of the juvenile affairs departments. 12 institutions for orphans and children left without parental care were visited, 64 surveys were conducted of the living conditions and upbringing of minors who systematically leave their place of residence— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Preventive conversations were held with minors and parents, they were explained about the inadmissibility of committing illegal actions, consuming alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, and leaving their families without permission.
173 parents (legal representatives) of minors were identified who committed violations in relation to their minor children, incl. 5 persons from guardians. 16 parents (other legal representatives) were placed on preventive registration to carry out individual preventive work to improve the situation in the family.
11 persons were identified who have a negative influence on adolescents, of which 1 person was brought to administrative responsibility for involving a minor in the use of alcohol and alcohol-containing products (Article 6.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), 1 person for involving a minor in the process of tobacco consumption, 2 persons for retail sale of alcoholic products to minors (Part 2.1 of Article 14.16 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), 7 persons — for beating minors (Article 6.1.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation),” the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea clarified.
In addition, 9 children were identified who were in difficult life situations and in need of help. These children were placed in social rehabilitation organizations and life support measures were taken. 9 written information was sent to the subjects of the prevention system and public organizations about the need to provide targeted assistance to children who have been subjected to violence or in need of social rehabilitation, 22 information was sent to local governments and units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations about the need to check the living quarters of families for fire and technical safety.
