Deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea approved a bill banning the retail sale of alcohol in apartment buildings from 20:00 to 10:00. We are talking about shops, liquor outlets, and even cafes and restaurants. Let us emphasize — only in those located in residential buildings (on the first or ground floors, and sometimes in basements).

As Oksana Dobrorez, Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, explained, the Republican Ministry of Industrial Policy and Administrations of Cities and Settlements in 2024 received 142 appeals from citizens with complaints about violations of law and order near points of sale of alcohol in apartment buildings, including near catering establishments.

TASS clarifies: according to the ministry, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs noted a significant number of criminal cases and protocols on offenses while intoxicated.

It is proposed to establish time limits for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages when providing public catering services in public catering facilities located in apartment buildings or in areas adjacent to them, from 20:00 to 10:00 local timesaid Dobrorez.
