In Crimea, the size of the republican lump sum payment upon signing a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense will be 400 thousand rubles

The decision was made in accordance with the recommendation Decree President of the Russian Federation of July 31, 2024 «On a one-time cash payment to military personnel serving under contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.»

Sergei Aksyonov clarified that the regional payment is due to citizens who have signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense to participate in a special military operation from August 1 to December 31, 2024. Its amount in the Republic of Crimea will be 400 thousand rubles.

The total amount of the payment will thus reach 800 thousand rubles — 400 thousand from the federal and republican budgets. We will continue to increase support for our soldiers in all areas.– the Head of Crimea emphasizes.

REFERENCE. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense as of July, since the beginning of 2024, a total of 190 thousand people have signed contracts to participate in the SVO across Russia.
