According to Avito Travel, the supply of daily dacha rentals in the country has grown by 37% in a year. Positive dynamics in 21 of the 22 cities included in the platform’s research. The choice has increased the most in Smolensk Oblast (+83%), Perm Krai (+75%), Bashkortostan (+63%) and Tatarstan (+62%).

Among the regions of Russia, the largest selection of daily dachas as of the end of July 2024 was in Dagestan (share of the total supply in the country: 21%), Crimea (11%), Krasnodar Krai (7%) and Moscow Oblast (4%). In terms of the number of bookings for the reporting month, the leaders were approximately the same. Dagestan’s share in the structure of demand for daily dacha rentals was 8%, Moscow Oblast — 7%, Crimea and Leningrad Oblast — 6% each, Krasnodar Krai and Kaliningrad Oblast — 5% each. Information on other regions is presented in Table 1.

On average, renting a dacha for a day in Russia in July 2024 cost 4,500 rubles. The cheapest rentals were in the Perm region and Crimea (2,800 rubles per night), Tver, Leningrad regions and Krasnodar region (3,500 rubles each). Although summer cottages account for only 5% of the daily rental offer for country houses, this format has its fans. First of all, such properties are attractive due to their low price. If renting a summer cottage for a day costs an average of 4,500 rubles in the country, then a house costs 5,500 rubles, and a cottage costs 10,000 rubles. Of course, this format has its drawbacks: summer cottages are usually smaller and do not have high-quality thermal insulation, but in the summer season these disadvantages are not so significant, so the benefits outweigh the— comments the head of the Avito Travel department, Artem Kromochkin.

In July 2024, on average, travelers across the country booked daily dachas for 3 nights. Among the regions studied, tourists stayed in dachas for the longest period in Crimea (6 nights), Dagestan, Krasnodar Krai and Tver Oblast (4 nights).
