In Crimea, the tourism industry received over two billion rubles in subsidies

In Crimea, subsidies have been paid to tourism sector entities at the rate of 4 minimum wages per employee. The total amount of payments amounted to 2.1 billion rubles, they were received by more than 2.7 thousand legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.
As the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov clarified, applications were accepted by the Republican Ministry of Resorts and Tourism from enterprises in the sanatorium and hotel sector, children’s health camps, chain hotels, excursion companies, as well as enterprises in the sphere of transport, catering, souvenir trade, and car rental.
Let me remind you that this measure is being implemented on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation and with the direct participation of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea. The payments are aimed at supporting the resort industry and related industries that have worked for the next season under geopolitical and sanctions pressure. This allows you to preserve workforces and ensure the viability of enterprises,” Aksyonov noted.
