In Crimea, the winners of the annual republican action in the field of resorts and tourism «Recognition of the Year» were voiced

The First Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Kozyrev greeted the winners on behalf of the chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov and noted that the “Recognition of the Year” campaign is held for the ninth time and has already acquired the status of an authoritative professional competition, which is highly valued by representatives of the tourist business. The evidence of this is the figures: 125 applications were received to participate in the action, last year there were 78, even a year earlier-63. According to the First Vice-Spiker, in eleven years Crimea made a tremendous breakthrough in development, including in the resort sector. The tourist market has become completely different, the number of tourists is growing every year. Participation in the “Recognition of the Year” action creates a certain competition among hotels and sanatoriums, motivating from year to year to become better.

Special diplomas, commemorative symbols and icons of shares for representatives of the resort and tourist industry were presented by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Gansi, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Olga Shevtsova, presidents of industry public organizations.

The Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Hanziy Congratulating the winners of the action said that in nine years, the shares have changed both the terms of participation and the participants themselves.

The quality of the provision of services to industry professionals always remains unchanged. The number of nominations is growing and this is not surprising, since Crimea is one of the five best directions for relaxing in the country, and tourism directions are expanding. The basis of Crimean hospitality and industry as a whole is always a person. Each of you contributes to the development of Crimea. About 42 thousand people work year -round in the field of tourism, and in the summer season this figure increases three times. For some, these are challenges, and for someone good opportunities for career growth. I wish all laureates and winners of further development, prosperity, new achievements and a successful year— said the minister.

Presenting the awards, Olga Shevtsova noted that for many years Crimea has been the territory of security and purity. The development of the sanatorium-resort complex is supported both at the construction stage and at the stage of implementation and operation of the facility. The safety of nature always remains in the first place, environmental tourism develops, new routes are opening and existing are landscaped. Crimea is getting better and greener.
