There is a sharp increase in the number of dry vegetation fires in Crimea. Just yesterday, firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations made 20 trips to extinguish “landscape” fires. A storm warning has been issued regarding increased winds in conditions of extreme fire danger, which contributes to the rapid spread of fire.
In order to stabilize the situation in the territory of 6 municipalities, there are 17 monitoring groups of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. Department specialists inspect the area, and if a fire is detected, measures are promptly taken to eliminate it.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea reminds that persons guilty of violating fire safety rules, depending on the nature of the violation and their consequences, bear disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability— reported the emergency department.
It is emphasized that for violation of these requirements fines from 10 to 800 thousand rubles are provided.
