Emergency crews of Krymenergo continue to eliminate the consequences of the disaster and are carrying out restoration work at power facilities in populated areas of the region, where squally winds with gusts of up to 35 m/s caused massive emergency outages in Crimea.

On November 20, 2023, due to the movement of the atmospheric front and the persistence of difficult meteorological conditions, disruptions in power grids continue to be recorded in the Chernomorsky, Pervomaisky, Simferopol, and Krasnogvardeysky districts. As of 14:00, 10 6-10 kV lines remain disconnected, about 6.8 thousand consumers are de-energized— reported the Crimean government.

Currently, 154 brigades consisting of 474 people and 168 pieces of equipment, including special equipment, are involved in eliminating the consequences of bad weather. State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» redeployed employees from different territorial divisions to work on damaged network facilities.

If necessary, mobile diesel generator sets are used to provide backup power supply. Work will continue continuously until the power supply to subscribers is completely restored.,” the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Republic of Crimea clarified.
