CrimeaPRESS reports:

And this is not the limit.

The damage caused to Crimea as a result of the past storm is significant, the authorities emphasize. According to the head of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, today the relevant services continue to calculate the damage caused to our infrastructure and property of Crimeans. This work is complicated by the fact that in many cases the water has not yet receded, and therefore it is impossible to get to the necessary objects.

Damaged infrastructure includes flooded public areas, roads and courtyards, flooded apartment and private buildings, damaged bank protection structures, embankments, power supply networks and many other objects.

Preliminarily… More than 10 thousand subscribers are still without power supply, most of whom are in Saki (3.5 thousand people), Chernomorsky (2 thousand people), Simferopol (1.3 thousand people), Belogorsk ( 0.8 thousand people), Bakhchisarai (0.6 thousand people) districts. Specialists of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» are working around the clock to fully restore power supply as quickly as possible. 175 teams, 512 people, 185 pieces of equipment are involved in the work.

The storm flooded 159 private households, 2 apartment buildings, and 100 personal plots. 438 people were evacuated, including 66 children.

As a result of the hurricane, more than 2,300 trees fell; almost all of them have already been removed by utility services.

Damage and leakage of roofs was detected at 741 objects, including 388 apartment buildings, social facilities — 217, private houses — 136. According to the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea, roofs were damaged in 79 educational institutions. The need for restoration work is about 200 million rubles,” noted Vladimir Konstantinov.

As of yesterday, according to information from executive bodies, damage in the amount of 1 billion 349 million 27 thousand 855 rubles was confirmed. The amount of damage is being clarified and supplemented.
