In Crimea they are working on a program of unmanned aircraft systems. There are already prototypes of “our drones”

Acting Minister of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea Elena Elekchyan held a meeting with manufacturers of prototypes of unmanned aircraft systems. Both finished products and individual stages of creating “our drones” were demonstrated, and the premises where drone control operators are trained in Crimea were also shown.
During the inspection, a discussion took place on possible areas of their application. In particular, it was noted that unmanned aerial systems can be used in a wide range of areas of economic activity, including data collection and transmission, remote monitoring, aerial reconnaissance, security of territory and facilities, aerial logistics— reported the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Crimea.
Elena Elekchyan also informed that a working group has been created on the development of unmanned aerial systems in the Republic of Crimea. The tasks of the working group are to study, develop and use scientific and production potential in the field of competencies of unmanned aircraft systems, as well as to determine the republic’s need for unmanned aircraft systems and include this need in the plan for the state civil order for unmanned aircraft systems.
Currently, the working group is forming the measures necessary to create a program of unmanned aircraft systems in Crimea.
