In Crimea, they discussed the interaction of the largest federal tour operators and hoteliers of the republic in the next season
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea initiated a round table with the heads of accommodation facilities and federal tourism operators and agents. The participants discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between accommodation facilities and tourism operators working in the Crimean direction, as well as new ideas for tourist routes as a way to attract tourists to Crimea.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Sergei Ganziy, and head of the transport company Grand Service Express Alexander Ganov.
As Irina Kiviko noted, it is important to establish year-round interaction on all sides, since Crimea is interesting to tourists at any time of the year, especially during the period of sanatorium treatment and recovery in the off-season.
According to Sergei Ganziy, one of the issues of today’s discussion was a slight decrease in the intensity of tour operator sales to Crimea over the past two years and the need to increase the share of organized tours in the region.
At the moment, the main flow of tourists to Crimea — about 68% — are autotourists, the so-called unorganized tourist flow. For the regional economy, it is important to predict the depth of booking, choice and interests of tourists, and tour operator analytics, which involves big data, can help with this. In general, it is necessary to determine areas of responsibility and parity of relationsnotes the minister.
Vice-President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Sergei Shpilko said that Crimea in 2024 became the leader in the dynamics of vacation booking due to smart pricing and improved transport logistics. The growth in bookings even for September and October compared to last year among tour operators is 60%, but it is uneven across the regions of Crimea. He expressed deep respect for the sustainability of the Crimean tourism market, which is created by people working in the industry.
As Andrey Pylov, president of the Crimea Tourism Alliance association, noted, the potential for receiving tourists in Crimea is enormous; it is necessary to open new sales markets and expand logistics chains, in which everyone should be interested: both the authorities and business.
Vice-President of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, General Director of the tour operator «Dolphin» Sergei Romashkin confirmed the opinion about the demand for Crimea and the interest of tour operators in the Crimean direction.
The tour operator «Alean» emphasized that Crimea is a priority destination for the company and emphasized that the early formation of tariffs for the next year will help tourists better navigate their plans for the summer.
Samvel Sarukhanyan, General Director of the Mriya resort, emphasized the importance of developing logistics, including transport solutions, and expressed his readiness to become a reliable partner for the implementation of large projects in this direction.
One of the main issues for both hoteliers and tour operators was the issue of special quotas when booking train tickets to Crimea and increasing the depth of ticket booking, as well as bus transfer services from stations to hotels. In general, the meeting participants agreed that the correct positioning of Crimea and a positive information background will allow the region to continue to lead in the choice of Russians as a place of recreation and recreation.
Following the meeting, a decision was made to hold a further meeting on interaction between hoteliers and tour operators, with a discussion of work regulations, information policy and joint loyalty programs.
