CrimeaPRESS reports:

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk held a meeting dedicated to ensuring drinking water supply to residents of the republic.

Rational use of water resources, reducing water losses in networks and ensuring stable water supply for all consumers are some of the key tasks– quotes the press service of the Prime Minister.

The relevant services were tasked with ensuring a supply of water in the Simferopol reservoir for at least a year. “Given the active construction of housing in the republic, it is necessary to analyze the potential increase in water consumption in the future,” said Yuri Gotsanyuk.

He also added that today in the republic it is necessary to modernize the methodology for accounting for water flowing from reservoirs to consumers.

Yuri Gotsanyuk focused on plans for the construction of the Martovskoye and Solnechnogorsk reservoirs, the need to repair main pipelines from the Partizanskoye reservoir, the fullness of the Belogorskoye and Taiganskoye reservoirs in conditions of precipitation deficiency, measures to solve these and other problems.

During the meeting, issues of financial support for resource supply enterprises and the development of a mechanism for bringing funds to state unitary enterprises were also discussed.
