The organizer of the criminal group was sentenced by the court to 12 years of imprisonment in a maximum security correctional colony with further restriction of freedom for a period of two years and payment of a fine of 800 thousand rubles. His accomplices were sentenced to seven and six years in a strict and general regime colonythe message says.
The investigation established that since November 2020, a previously convicted local resident organized a cell of the international movement AUE, which, by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated August 17, 2020, was recognized as extremist, its activities on the territory of the state are prohibited.
He recruited two acquaintances as accomplices, with whom they intimidated villagers, extorted money, notified other supporters of the cell about the appearance of law enforcement officers on the territory under their control, collected a “common fund” to support prisoners, promoted criminal traditions, violence against law enforcement officers and the population who do not support the AUE ideology.
The criminal activities of the group were identified and suppressed by employees of the republican departments of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in March 2023. During the searches, ammunition for weapons, phones with information about AUE and other items indicating the involvement of the detainees in the subculture were seized.
