In Crimea, women are less loyal to group interviews than men

CrimeaPRESS reports:

6% of companies conduct group interviews; most often, mass selection is used when hiring line warehouse and sales personnel. Representatives of enterprises and organizations and economically active Crimeans took part in the survey of the service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob.

The group interview method is used in selection by recruiters of 6% of companies in Crimea. In this way, warehouse personnel, couriers, salespeople, security guards, drivers and contact center operators are most often hired. How do applicants feel about participating in a group interview? Do they agree to an interview in the presence of their direct competitors for the position? Judging by the answers, there are more opponents of this selection method than supporters: 47 and 36%, respectively. And if among men the votes for and against participation in a group interview were divided approximately equally, then among women there were more refusals,” noted the service’s press service.

Among representatives of common professional groups, those most loyal to mass interviews are among dispatchers and call center operators (53 and 52%, respectively). There are more security guards willing to participate in a group interview than those who do not agree to this (47 and 38%, respectively). Among drivers and workers, votes for and against were distributed approximately equally.

Group interviews are least likely to be considered an acceptable entrance test by chief and line accountants (12 and 18%, respectively). “In my opinion, this is disrespect for a specialist. The person is already worried, but there are also strangers around,” they comment.
