A master class on historical dance took place in the Livadia Palace. According to the press service of the Crimean Ministry of Culture, the event was attended by lovers of historical dances, design students and teachers, high school students.
A master class on historical dance took place in the Musical Salon of the Livadia Palace. The event was organized by the staff of the Republican Museum together with the participants of the historical dance studio «Flower of Taurida». The head of the studio Ekaterina Yantarova shared information about fashion trends and etiquette of the mid-19th century with the audiencethe message says.
Also at the master class, slides were shown with fashionable styles, toilet items and accessories for all occasions — from home clothes to costumes worn at a court ball.
Considered antique items — the necessary attributes at the balls. Fashionable dances of the 40-50s of the XIX century were demonstrated, everyone took an active part in the dance part of the program— said the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
It is emphasized that the Livadia Palace Museum regularly holds events on the history of dances with the participation of clubs of historical reconstruction.
