In Dzhankoy, a 35-year-old local resident was found guilty by the court under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 1 art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder), paragraph “c”, part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft). During the trial, it was established that in December last year the man, while intoxicated, was in his house in the village of Zarechnoye. The accused was unable to complete his criminal intent due to the resistance offered by the victim. In addition, the attacker stole a mobile phone belonging to the victim.— said the prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 8 years and 6 months of imprisonment with restriction of freedom for 1 year, serving the sentence in a maximum security correctional colony. The court’s verdict did not enter into legal force.
