In Eastern Crimea, at the request of the environmental prosecutor, a waste dump was liquidated

The Kerch Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor’s Office conducted an inspection of compliance with the requirements of the legislation on production and consumption waste.

An unauthorized waste dump was discovered on the territory of the Leninsky district at the entrance to the village of Priozernoye. Due to the fact that no measures were taken to eliminate it, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit.

During the consideration of the case by the administration of the Priozernensky rural settlement, the prosecutor’s demands were fulfilled voluntarily, the waste dump was liquidated— the supervisory agency reported (and supported the information with a photograph).
