In Evpatoria, stilt walkers set a Russian record. Dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Crimean spring
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In honor of the 10th anniversary of the annexation of Crimea to Russia, artists from the stilt theater “Show of Giants” of the Evpatoria Culture and Leisure Center set a Russian record — in 1 hour 48 minutes they walked a 10-kilometer route through the city streets. As part of the group, 10-year-old stilt walkers, the same age as the Crimean Spring, took part in the event.
The artists started from Theater Square. Among the first to go along the route was the family of stilt walker Ruslan Borovkov, who was at the forefront of the creation of the “Show of Giants” theater in 2001. The youngest participant was 7-year-old German Borovkov. The route passed through 10 iconic places of the city, reflecting the transformations of the last 10 years. During the movement, the artists passed the city flag from hand to hand. The procession ended on the embankment named after. Tereshkova, — reported the press service of the administration of Yevpatoria.
