In Feodosia, a man will stand trial on charges of cruelty to animals

The prosecutor’s office of Feodosia approved the indictment in a criminal case against a 44-year-old local resident. He is accused of committing a crime under paragraph «b» part 2 of Art. 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (cruel treatment of an animal for the purpose of causing him pain and suffering from hooligan motives in the presence of young children).
According to the investigation, the man from the window of his apartment, in front of the minors, fired an aimed shot from a pneumatic weapon at a dog, injuring the animal in the form of a bullet wound in the intercostal region. He pleaded guilty to the crime— reported in the prosecutor’s office of the Crimea.
After the approval of the indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Feodosia City Court for consideration. The flayer of Feodosia faces a serious punishment — from a large fine to imprisonment from 3 to 5 years.
