In Feodosia, a “seasoned” debtor was detained — the driver has accumulated fines of more than a hundred thousand

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate in Feodosia have suspended a driver with unpaid fines in the amount of more than 100 thousand rubles from driving a vehicle.
As part of the operational and preventive measure «Debtor», traffic inspectors of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Feodosia stopped an Audi car driven by a 37-year-old resident of the Kirov region on the Simferopol highway in Feodosia. The car was not stopped by chance; the driver was on the list of persistent defaulters. Recently alone, 20 administrative materials have been compiled against the driver for a total amount of 113,500 rubles.
Also, according to the traffic police records, it was revealed that the driver was deprived of the right to drive a vehicle for driving while intoxicated, who did not surrender his license within the legally established period. Driver’s license confiscated— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the man under Part 2 of Art. 12.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Driving a vehicle by a driver deprived of the right to drive.” In cooperation with employees of the bailiff department for the city of Feodosia, the vehicle was arrested and placed in a special parking lot for detained vehicles.
The information was transferred at the place of residence of the driver of the vehicle to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kirov region for further decision-making and bringing to administrative responsibility under Art. 20.25 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of Crimea reminds that for failure to pay a fine within the period prescribed by law, administrative liability is provided in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of twice the amount of the unpaid administrative fine, or administrative arrest for up to 15 days, or compulsory work for up to 50 hours. Whatever the court decides to impose an administrative penalty within the sanction of Part 1 of Art. 20.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the initial fine imposed by the resolution on bringing to administrative responsibility must also be paid.
