In Feodosia, the environmental prosecutor’s office conducted an audit of compliance with the requirements of the legislation in the field of handling animals used by a business entity for cultural and entertainment purposes. According to the press service of the prosecutor’s office, they checked the crocodile farm (crocodile farm, which has not only crocodiles, but also lizards, turtles, fish, crabs, etc.).
It was established that the organization, in violation of the requirements of the law, does not comply with the size of the enclosures for animals located on the territory of the crocodile farm, there is no veterinary station, as well as permits for feed, feed ration and animal feeding regimen. These violations do not exclude the spread of especially dangerous infectious diseases , the supervisory authority reported.
The environmental prosecutor sent a statement of claim to the court to compel the organization to eliminate the violations of the law. It is reported that the court satisfied the demands of the prosecutor in full. The prosecutor’s office will control the execution of the judgment.
